What is EOpedia?

The aim of EOpedia is to provide a source of knowledge for the Earth observation community. It shall become the first point of contact for people looking for information about remote sensing and earth observation. The articles will include a brief introduction to each topic as well as links to high-quality resources for further reading. It is not intended to create lengthy entries that may compete for completeness with Wikipedia or other sources. These are frequently bloated with unnecessary information for Earth observation professionals. Instead, a quick overview will be provided, with existing sources being repurposed.
